| Women in the program usually require numerous services to address their needs. They include: |

- Drug and alcohol counseling
- HIV counseling
- Parenting skills
- Basic living skills
- Educational opportunities through area literacy programs, such as Mercy Learning Center.
- Referrals to outpatient substance abuse treatment facilities, such as Project Courage, Liberation Meridian, Guenster, and Southwest Community Center.
- Links to area human service agencies.
- HIV/AIDS educational workshops and referrals to medical services.
- Assistance with applications: WIG, food stamps, job services, Supplemental Security Income, Social Security, Clothing and Personal items
- Assistance locating affordable housing.
